Michael has over a decade of experience providing speech and language services to children and adolescents across school, clinical, research, and community settings. He specializes in working with children with autism spectrum disorder, social communication differences, executive functioning challenges, language disorders, and language-based literacy needs.
Michael provides individualized, evidence-based intervention focused on helping children build meaningful communication, social connection, independence, and participation across home, school, and community environments. His clinical areas of focus include social communication training, executive function coaching, language-based literacy intervention, and structured literacy instruction through Orton-Gillingham methodologies.
Michael earned his Master of Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and has worked at both the Waisman Center at the University of Wisconsin and the Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. He has contributed to research and educational initiatives funded by the National Institutes of Health and the Institute of Education Sciences.
